Now, we invite you to join our referral program and help us connect with outstanding educators who can make a real difference in schools across the UK.
How It Works
When you refer a qualified teacher to Hourglass Education, you’re not only helping them find their next opportunity, but you’re also eligible to receive a referral bonus of £250 for each successful placement. And the best part? There’s no limit to the number of referrals you can make, so spread the word and multiply your rewards.
Who Can You Refer?
You can recommend teachers from the UK or overseas who are seeking full-time teaching positions. Whether they’re seasoned educators or fresh faces in the field, if they’re new to Hourglass, they’re eligible for referral.
To Claim Your Referral
To claim your referral, click here and send an email with the subject line ‘Teacher Referral’. Please include your name, contact details, and the name of the teacher you have referred.
Please note: Before contacting us via email, please make sure to carefully read the terms and conditions. Please be aware that tracking every referral can be challenging for us, so it’s important that you inform us of any referrals you make.
- To ensure fairness and transparency, please review the following terms and conditions before participating in our referral programme.
- Referred candidates must be ‘new’ to Hourglass, meaning we haven’t previously received their details through other channels.
- Candidates must be employed as teachers on a full-time basis. For support or admin staff referrals, a separate referral fee of £75 applies.
- Only one person can claim a referral fee for each teacher. In case of a dispute, Hourglass Education’s decision is final.
- Referrals must be emailed to us and include the candidate’s CV.
- Referral fees will be paid by BACS and are taxable. Proof of holding a UK bank account in your name will be required.
- Payment will be made once the referred candidate has completed one full term of employment in their new school.
- Referral claims must be made within the first 12 months of the referred candidate’s employment.
