Overview We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our team at a school in Weybridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Religious Education and be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for Religious Education classes
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and wellbeing
• Stay informed about developments in Religious Education and incorporate relevant content into lessons
• Support and encourage students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialisation in Religious Education or relevant field
• Strong understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Day-to-day

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the school’s curriculum
• Engaging with students from diverse backgrounds and accommodating their needs
• Collaborating with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive school environment
• Providing feedback on student progress and maintaining accurate records
